Official 'WandaVision' Trailer Released

Marvel Studios unveiled a new poster and the second trailer for WandaVision at their Walt Disney Investor's Day presentation!

WandaVision is releasing in one month on Disney+, and we got a new trailer and poster today thanks to Marvel's presentation at the Walt Disney Investor's Day!

The poster shows Wanda and Vision standing behind multiple TVs, some showing scenes from the show while others give a glimpse at their true superhero identities. This is actually our first look at Scarlet Witch's new costume, and you can see that she wears elbow-length red gloves and a proper, armored suit. This is especially exciting considering that Wanda has never worn a true superhero costume in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, wearing street clothes for most of Avengers: Age of Ultron and a red trench coat since Captain America: Civil War. Her awesome suit from the final scene of Age of Ultron was never seen again for unknown reasons. Hopefully her full costume is revealed soon (and it better have her headdress)!

The new trailer shows off more of Wanda's sitcom reality, featuring better looks at the "nosy neighbor" Agnes and grown-up Monica Rambeau (who seems to be confused about her place in Wanda's world). We've also got our first look at Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo, who are returning from Thor: The Dark World and Ant-Man and the Wasp, respectively. The biggest surprise in the trailer to me was the implication that someone else has trapped Wanda in this fantasy, as I had always assumed she was doing it to herself even if she wasn't fully aware of it. The trailer also confirms that S.W.O.R.D. is trying to get to Wanda and we have some more shots of the real world outside of the sitcom bubble. Finally, in one of the last shots of the trailer (seen below in the thumbnail), you can see a picture of three red-faced people behind Vision. Could this be a photo of Vision with his two synthezoid children, Vin and Viv, from Tom King's 2016 comic run? I was only expecting to see Billy and Tommy, but perhaps we'll be getting four WandaVision children!

WandaVision begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021.
