Black Widow SDCC Exclusive Set Revealed!

Another cancelled convention exclusive set has been found: 77905 Taskmaster's Ambush! Based on the Black Widow movie that was supposed to release on May 1st, this set features two exclusive minifigures of Red Guardian and Natasha Romanoff in her new all-white costume. The Taskmaster figure found here is a repeat from 76162 Black Widow's Helicopter Chase, which released on March 1st, while the main build is the tank he's seen driving in the trailers.

Two exclusive minifigures in an SDCC exclusive set is pretty irritating, especially when they're such desired figures. However, I'm expecting this set to be available on LEGO Shop@Home in the USA in the next month or two like all of the other cancelled convention exclusives, and hopefully the exclusive figures pop up in a polybag next year like Captain Marvel from the 2019 SDCC exclusive. It'd be perfect timing to tie into the movie's new release date in May 2021!
